On Thursday, 22 September, from 12.00 to 14.00, the ninth job fair will take place at the Riga Support Centre for Ukrainians at Amatu iela 4. 12 companies have applied and will offer more than 300 vacancies in various sectors.
The “Rimi Latvija” chain of stores will offer 200 vacancies at this job fair, as will the food and sweets manufacturer “Orkla Latvija”, JSC “Amber Latvijas Balzams”, the metalworking company “Rītausmas Steel Constructions”, and the construction company “Pillar Contractor”. The sewing company “PRO Fashion” will offer sewing jobs, the garment cleaning company “Lindo grupa”, the insurance company “Eurorisk” and the cleaning company “Markett24” will present their job offers. Medical staff vacancies will be offered by the Riga Municipality capital company “Riga 1st Hospital”, and the Riga City Council Territorial Improvement Board will present job opportunities in the maintenance of municipal territories.
Since May this year eight job fairs have been held with 64 companies participating, offering more than 2,000 vacancies to Ukrainian civilians. Currently, these companies employ around 400 Ukrainians.
Entrepreneurs who are ready to offer jobs to Ukrainian civilians at the next job fairs in the Riga Support Centre are invited to fill in the questionnaire about the offered vacancies. The next job fair will take place on 6 October.
