The government intends to prescribe that all Latvian residents during the period of the year from 30 December to 4 January, as well as on 8 and 9 January from 10.00 PM until 5.00 AM will have to stay in his place of residence. It is also intended to extend the emergency situation until 7 February.
It is currently not planned to limit daily travel. As a result, marketing and services sites will be allowed to operate from 6.00 AM until 09.00 PM so that employees can get from home to work and back without violating the rules. The working time limit would also apply to catering sites, still providing food and drinks only for co-collection.
