This weekend, May 6 and 7, the traditional “Rimi Riga Marathon” will take place in Riga. During the marathon, vehicle traffic on several streets of the capital, as well as on bridges over Daugava, will be limited or closed. On Sunday, May 7, there will also be significant changes in the force of a number of public transport routes.
From Saturday, May 6 at .17 .00 until Monday, May 8 plk t. 6.00 will close vehicle traffic on section of 11 November krastmala from the Akmens Bridge to Muitas Street. .Similarly, during the period mentioned, vehicle traffic will be closed of 11 November krastmala in a adjacent, parallel street on the Old Riga side, from the Poļu gāte to Jauniela.
When needed from Friday 5 May .19 .00, until Monday, May 8, plk t. 6.00, in Thought Square and Palace Street, will organize two-way traffic. Sunday, May 7 from the pluck t. 7.30 to 7.30 .16 .00 two-way traffic will also be organised in New Street and Kat Street.

State Police in cooperation with Riga Municipal Police on 6 May from .9 .50 to plk t. 11.00 will suspend and close vehicle traffic on the specified route.
