Together with other non-governmental organizations and active Latvian citizens, the movement “Gribu palīdzēt bēgļiem” (I Want to Help Refugees) is currently helping coordinate support and assistance for Ukrainian people who might arrive in Latvia. One of the first steps is to identify people who are willing to get involved in different ways. This is necessary so that as soon as specific needs arise, it is clear who can deal with them.
To find out who is ready to help, the movement invites you to fill in this questionnaire.
In the meantime, you can follow information in the Facebook group and also contact gribupalidzetbegliem@gmail.com.
The Ministry of Economics is conducting a survey of tourist hostels on refugee accommodation, which can be completed here.
