This year, celebrating the 31 st anniversary of the Republic of Latvia's restoration of independence, Riga was traditionally adorned with the composition “Blossom Latvia”, including the environmental object - letters “LATVIA”. A diverse programme of events with concerts, cinema impressions and exhibitions was prepared to citizens online.
