Issuing an ad placement permit and harmonising the parking of a machine (without digging)

Process description

1. Service requests
   The service may be requested in person, electronically or by post.
   When requesting a service in person, the customer shall turn to the City Development Department of Riga City Council, leaving the documents in a specially designed document cabinet, or to the Riga City residents center, leaving the documents in a dedicated mailbox for them.
   When requesting a service electronically, the client shall submit an application prepared in accordance with the regulatory enactments
   for acts on the drawing up of electronic documents, certified by a secure electronic signature, time
   a stamp and other necessary documents.
   When requesting the service by post, the client shall send a completed submission and other necessary documents.
   Service requests documents required:
   1. Application for the deployment of an advertising/advertising object/machine (form No. Da_118_v3).
   2. A document certifying the right to use property, if the application is not submitted by the owner of the property.
   3. Photofixation of the intended deployment site.
   4. Graphic documents with an object visual solution.
   5. Position plan on an appropriate visual scale (M 1:25 0; M 1:50 0; M 1:10 00) stating: the position of the intended site on the parcel and its external dimensions; attaching to the structure situation plan for the supply of the building's engineering communications; pedestrian and transport flows.
   6. Co-ordination with third parties whose interests are affected.
   7. Technical documentation developed by a certified manufacturer in Latvian.
   8. A co-ordination of the National Heritage Board, if the object is located in the territory of the historic centre of Riga and the protection zone thereof or in the territory or protection zone of another State protected cultural monument.
   The City Development Department of Riga City Council reviews the advertising and parking project and takes a decision regarding the issuance of an ad placement permit and the harmonisation of the parking of the facility or regarding the refusal to issue an ad placement permit and the harmonisation of the parking of the facility.

2. A service charge
   Before submitting an advertising project and preparing an ad placement permit, a mandatory payment should be made - EUR 22.77 per municipal fee for the developed official document in accordance with the annex to the Law No 178 on the Local Government Fee on the receipt of the official documents drawn up by the City Development Department of Riga City Council 16.06.2009.

3. Receipt of services
   The ad/promotional site deployment permission can be obtained electronically by email specified by the client (in the case of an activated official e-address account, the department will use the e-address primarily).
