Service requests
Riga Social Service grants material support to people who have difficulty in moving and who cannot move with public transport.
In order to receive the payment for the transport service, the person or person authorised by it shall submit a submission to the Social Service of Riga, presenting a personal identification document.
Patients with chronic renal failure requiring haemodialysis for payment transport should submit an annual statement from a primary healthcare doctor or treating physician from a hospital/outpatient patient medical card (form 027/u) indicating the need for and period of receipt of procedures.
For single-payment transport services, an extract from a hospital/outpatient medical card issued by a primary health care doctor or treating physician (form 027/u), in which a person's inability to move by public transport is justified.
In addition to payment for attending training institutions or long-term (not less than one month) qualification or promotion courses - in the first semester of training, a document regarding the admission of a person to an educational institution, but in the future every six months the statement of the educational institution that the person has completed the previous semester of training and continues the training (does not apply to persons who are studying in primary school), a copy of the contract regarding the commencement of qualification or raising courses.
In addition to the receipt of payment, every six months a statement from the workplace indicating the time limit for which the employment legal relationship is established.
In addition to receiving payment rehabilitation, a person must present a referral (assignment) to a rehabilitation institution or a document attesting the fact and period of receipt of a rehabilitation service.

If the person complies with the requirements for the receipt of payment for transport services:
1) the payment for the transport service shall be transferred to the account of the person's account;
2) payment for patients with chronic renal failure of transport services who need haemodialysis may be transferred to the payment account of the transport service provider.
