Process description
Service requests
A person may submit an application in person, by post or application, which has been prepared in conformity with the requirements of regulatory enactments regarding the presentation of electronic documents, certified with a secure electronic signature, may be sent to e-mail or submitted to the portal www.latvija.lv.
Receipt of services documents required:
The application has been completed in accordance with the auction by-law or in accordance with the publication on rental sites
In the portal of Riga State-city municipality, https://riga.lv,, under the heading “City - > Municipal Properties - > Auctions” and on the homepage of the Riga City Council Property Department, https://id.riga.lv.
On-site, the service shall be provided unless the parties have agreed to be accepted remotely.
In cases where it is necessary to limit or suspend the presence of visitors, visitors shall be accepted remotely, in exceptional cases where the issue cannot be resolved remotely, allowing for the presence of visitors.
In exceptional cases, where the issue cannot be resolved remotely, by allowing the arrival of visitors on site, the service may be provided on site at the Department of Personality's Customer Service Centre on Knights Street 10, Riga, only after a previous entry by phone number +37167026138 or +37167026151, or by specialists, assessing the urgency of providing it in each situation on an individual basis.

A person may receive a service execution document (contract) in person, by post or by electronic means.
A service execution document (contract) is sent to the person at the address specified in the application, or a service execution document (contract) signed with a secure electronic signature is sent to the person to the e-mail address indicated in the application.
