Description:

The residents centre of the City of Riga shall take a decision regarding the issuance of an administrative act within one month from the date of receipt of the submission. The final date of the deadline in the number of months shall be the corresponding date of the last month of the deadline. If the final month of the deadline does not contain the relevant date, the last day of the deadline shall be the last day of this month.

Description:

A merchant who has already been issued a special permit (licence) for the retail sale or wholesale sale of alcoholic beverages. A natural person who is registered in the Commercial Register or is a performer of economic activity to whom a licence has been issued for the activity of an approved warehousekeeper for a small alcoholic beverage brewery.

Retail sale of alcoholic beverages in outward trade at the public event in Riga is permitted:
1. in non-residential buildings or groups of spaces having a public function, at the place of the public event for the duration of a particular measure, but not exceeding four days;
2. outside the building, in a public place, at the place of the public event and at the time, if the planned place of activity does not conform to street trade within the meaning of Cabinet Regulation No. 440 of 12 May 2010, Regulations regarding the types of trade to be co-ordinated with the local government and the procedures for organising trade.

Service requests
In order to receive the Permit, a merchant shall submit a submission to the Local Government, in which the following shall
1. the name, registration number, contact number, e-mail address of the merchant;
2. the address of the place of business in which the retail sale of alcoholic beverages is intended for outward trade, including the cadastre designation of the building or premises;
3. the period for which the merchant wishes to obtain the Permit;
4. the working time of the retail venue for alcoholic beverages;
5. the name, registration number, contact and contact details of the organiser of the measure (e-mail, telephone number);
Indication 6, if it is planned to sell alcoholic beverages in which the amount of alcohol exceeds 15 percentages by volume, accompanied by a co-ordination with the organiser of the measure concerned and the owner of the place where the measure is to take place, the legal possessor or manager, in relation to the aggregation of the territory.
